Love That Reaches To The Heavens

Love That Reaches To The HeavensThis week’s memory verse from Called and Created’s Bible Reading and Memorization Plan is Psalm 36:5. This verse says that God’s love reaches to the heavens, and His faithfulness reaches to the skies.

“You are loved with an affection that reaches to the heavens! Your Heavenly Father cares for you in a way that surpasses all imagination. His faithfulness reaches to the skies.  No matter what you may be going through, know that you are not alone or forgotten. Your name is written upon the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16). His love for you knows no bounds!”

5 Things To Take Pictures Of This Spring

5 Things To Take Pictures Of This SpringDo you enjoy taking pictures? Spring is an awesome time to capture pics you simply can’t get any other time throughout the year, as the barrenness of winter is being replaced by the new life of spring in God’s beautiful creation!

Here is a list of 5 things to take pictures of this spring:

  1. In the springtime, flowers abound. Find new and unusual ways to portray their colorful beauty!
  2. Rainy day? After the rain showers are over, head outside, and capture the glistening wet look of your surroundings. (After all, rain is simply a part of the season!) And be sure to keep your eyes open for rainbows to take pictures of as the sun’s rays begin to peek through the clouds!
  3. Be sure to take photos of the little things that are a part of the season that you may take for granted now, but miss during the long winter months – things such as the bright green grass and leaves, and brilliant blue skies.
  4. Dandelions sprouting up everywhere in your backyard? Instead of seeing them as pests, view them as a photography challenge. Take pictures with them as your subject, finding unique shots to take of them.
  5. Love to watch butterflies fluttering by in the late spring, and into the summer? Why don’t you take pictures of them earlier on as caterpillars, and record their development into butterflies? You may even want catch a caterpillar to raise, so that you can more easily capture images of each stage of the process!

Spring Photography

Spring is a great time to take pictures! The grass turns green, leaves are budding, flowers are blooming, and birds come out to sing their cheery song. Signs of new life are everywhere, reminding us of the new life that we have in Christ.

Here are a few spring pictures I have taken of some of the things there are to look forward to each year with the coming of warmer weather:

When You Look At The Sky

When You Look At The Sky“Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.” Psalm 36:5, NASB

You are loved with an affection that reaches to the heavens! Your Heavenly Father cares for you in a way that surpasses all imagination. He pursued you to the point of sending His Son to save you by giving His life for you at the cross. No matter what you may be going through, know that you are not alone or forgotten. Your name is written upon the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16). His love for you knows no bounds!

Your Heavenly Father’s faithfulness reaches to the skies. He is there for you whenever you need Him. He will never abandon you or leave you on your own, no matter what circumstances you may be going through. You can put your trust in Him, with complete confidence in His great faithfulness.

God’s love and faithfulness are beyond measure. Next time you look up at the big, broad sky above you, remember that you are loved with an affection that reaches to the heavens, and that there is One whose faithfulness towards you stretches to the skies!
