God, Your Heavenly Father

heavenly father

Did you know that you have a father who is in every way the perfect parent? He loves you more than you can ever imagine, will never get angry with you (Is 54:9), and delights in giving you good things!

Regardless of your family situation, whether wonderful or not as you wish it was, I’m not talking about your earthly father. After all, even the best of earthly parents make mistakes. I’m talking about your Father in heaven!

God isn’t a stern judge, waiting to condemn you every time you fail. He isn’t just out there somewhere, totally unconcerned about and uninvolved in your everyday life. If you believe in Jesus, then God is your Heavenly Father!

As your Heavenly Father, God cares about you far more than you know, and desires what’s best for you. He wants to take care of you, if you will let Him, and use His wisdom to lead and guide you down the right path. And just like parents give good things to their children, God has many good gifts that He will give you, if you will ask (Mtt 7:11).

You don’t have to be afraid to come to God, thinking that He is going to turn you away because of the mistakes you have made. Because  Jesus gave His life for you at the cross, God has forgiven you for all the things you have done wrong, and made you able to stand before Him. As His child, you have the right to come to Him freely at any time. He actually WANTS to spend time with you! And He also deeply desires for you to get to know Him better.

Know that God is your caring Heavenly Father, who wants you to enter into a close relationship with Him. Ask Him to show you just how much He loves you. Spend time enjoying His presence!

You Are His!

You Are His!This week’s memory verse is Isaiah 43:1. It tells us not to fear, because God has redeemed us, and summoned us by name, and we are His.

We have been redeemed. At the cross, Jesus paid the price to save us, and set us free. In Him we have redemption – the forgiveness of all of our sins (Ephesians 1:7). He bought us back at a high cost. Now we can have a relationship with the One who made us!

God has called us by name. He knows who we are. He is familiar with all of our ways (Psalm 139:3). He has numbered the hairs on our heads (Matthew 10:30)! He cares about each of us individually, and He has a plan for each of us. He knows the plans He has for us, and they are for our prosperity, not our harm – to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)!

You are His! Wherever you go, God is with you. If you have received Jesus as your Savior, then He is your Heavenly Father, and you are His child. No mistake that you make, no failure on your part, can change that! None can pluck you out of His hand (John 10:28)!

Fear not. You have been redeemed and summoned by name. You are His!

As A Child Of God, You Can . . .

As A Child Of God, You Can . . .

As a child of God, you can . . .

believe what God says about you, rather than the devil’s lies. Sometimes, it’s easy to ignore what God has to say about us, and fall for the enemy’s deception. Your Heavenly Father says that you are His beloved, cherished, valued, and treasured son or daughter. Choose to believe His words, and accept them as truth!

approach God with the freedom and confidence that comes from with knowing that He is your loving Heavenly Father. You are a child of God, and as His child, you have the privilege of boldly approaching His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). Use this privilege!

allow God’s love and grace to free you from condemnation and regret. You don’t need to constantly condemn yourself over mistakes you’ve made. Christ has paid the price for them in full!

trust in what Christ has done for your continued right standing before God, rather than your actions. You can never be good enough to earn righteousness. If what Christ did was enough to save you, then it’s enough to keep you in right standing with your Father in Heaven!

receive God’s blessings as the free gifts of grace they are intended. God’s blessing upon your life isn’t dependent on what you do, but rather on what Christ has done. His finished work has qualified you to receive all of the blessings God has for you!

The Beauty Of His Grace

The Beauty Of His Grace“Anywhere you are is never too far away. There’s freedom from your scars, the mistakes that you’ve made . . . that’s the beauty of grace!”

These lyrics are true for you today! God’s grace is far greater than any mistake you could ever make. No matter what you may have done, know that His grace still abounds towards you. Our Heavenly Father’s grace truly is amazing!

Ephesians 1:6 – God’s glorious grace has been given to us freely!

Every Good and Perfect Gift

Every Good and Perfect GiftThis week’s memory verse from Called and Created’s Bible Reading and Memorization Plan is James 1:17. This verse states that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who doesn’t change like the shadows, which are constantly shifting.

Every good thing in your life is from your Heavenly Father. He isn’t the giver of that which causes sadness, heartache, and pain, but rather of every good and perfect gift. As our Father in Heaven, He delights in blessing us, and seeing us enjoy His blessings. That is the kind of Daddy He is!

Our God is unchangeable. In a world that’s constantly shifting and turning, He remains constant. The One who loves to provide for us, and desires for us to accept His good gifts, will continue to be our source of blessing. For your provision, look to the One who is the giver of all things good and perfect!

Filled With Joy In His Presence

Filled With Joy In His PresenceThis week’s memory verse from Called and Created’s Bible Reading and Memorization Plan is Psalm 16:11. This verse says that our Heavenly Father will make known to us the path of life, and that He will fills us with joy in His presence, and eternal pleasures at His right hand.

Do you feel depressed? Discouraged? Defeated? Are you in need of joy? Spend some time in God’s presence. Let Him reveal to you just how much He loves you, and just how amazing His grace really is. Begin to understand that you are valued, treasured, and cherished by Him, as His beloved child. Know that the One who created the universe knows and cares for you personally as your Heavenly Father, and let that knowledge bring you joy beyond what you’ve ever experienced before.

God loves you. He knows what you are feeling, and He doesn’t want you to be filled with defeat, depression, discouragement, anxiety, fear, or worry. He wants you to experience the fullness of joy that his found in His presence. Draw near to Him, and allow Him to fill you with His surpassing joy!

God Will Supply All Your Needs

God Will Supply All Your Needs This week’s memory verse from Called and Created’s Bible Reading and Memorization Plan is Philippians 4:19. This verse says that God will supply all our needs, according to His riches and glory in Christ.

What are you in need of today? In what area(s) are you lacking? Claim God’s promise of provision. His Word says that He will supply all your needs, and all of His promises are yes and amen in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20)! God is not a man, that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). His word will not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). Know this, and be confident that your needs WILL be met!

Did you know that because you are His child, God delights in providing for you? As our Heavenly Father, He loves to see us enjoying His provision. He takes pleasure in the prosperity of His people (Psalm 35:27). He wants us to know that He gives good gifts to those who ask (Matthew 7:11).

Bring your needs before God, trusting that He will provide all that you lack. Know that as your Heavenly Father, He wants to bless you. Receive His provision today!

A Letter From God

A Letter From God

Dearly Loved Child,

I wish you knew how much I truly love you. My love for you is everlasting
(Jeremiah 31:3). It is unfailing (Psalm 36:7). It can never be shaken (Isaiah 54:10).

No matter what you’re going through, know that nothing can separate you from My love (Romans 8:38-39). In every situation, you are more than a conqueror through My Son (Romans 8:37)! I am always with you. I will never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Because I am with you, none will be able to stand against you, all the days of your life (Joshua 1:5).

What are you in need of? Simply ask Me. Call out to Me, and I will answer you (Jeremiah 33:3), for if you ask, you will receive (Matthew 7:8). I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly, far above all you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21). Nothing you could ask for is ever impossible, for all things are possible for Me (Matthew 19:26)!

Your life has meaning and purpose. I knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). I have good plans for your life – plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. They are plans to give you hope and a future
(Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you turn to the right or the left, my voice will lead you (Isaiah 30:21), if you will listen.

I am the giver of every good and perfect gift in your life (James 1:17). Because I love you, I delight in blessing you. I desire for you to experience the abundant life that my Son came to give you (John 10:10). Know this, and receive all that I have made available to you through the promises in My Word!

I have chosen you (John 15:16). I rejoice over you with song (Zephaniah 3:17). Always remember that you are precious to me, and honored in my sight
(Isaiah 43:4)!With Much Love, Your Heavenly Father

With Much Love,
Your Heavenly Father
