My Declaration Of Freedom

My Declaration Of FreedomStarting today, I declare that I am no longer a slave. I am a child of God.

As God’s child, I no longer need to feel afraid or ashamed to stand before my Heavenly Father. I will no longer experience a sense of unworthiness in His presence, for I know that He has made me worthy by sending His Son to die for me, and become my righteousness.

I have been saved, redeemed, forgiven, and made right with God. When He looks at me, He no longer sees my sin. He sees Jesus’ righteousness covering me. I am in Christ
(2 Corinthians 5:17), and I am accepted, loved, cherished, and treasured by God, just as He is (1 John 4:17).

I recognize that it is the devil who wants me to feel condemned, defeated, depressed, discouraged, and worthless – like I don’t matter. These feelings are not from God. They never have been, and never will be. Therefore, I refuse to accept them. I am not a slave, who has to earn the approval of my master. I am a son or daughter of the Most High, to whom His approval and affection are freely given, without stipulation.

I refuse to accept the mindset of a slave – thinking that my relationship with God is based on my actions, and that when I mess up, my standing before Him suffers – and I refuse to attempt to bring others under such slavery. Instead, I will share the message of reconciliation, with which I have been entrusted – the good news that God has reconciled the world to Himself through Christ, and is no longer counting their sins against them
(2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

I am not who I once was. I am a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). I am a completely different person. I have been perfected once and for all by the only Perfect One  (Hebrews 10:14).

I choose to believe what God says about me, rather the lies of the devil, who is the deceiver of the brethren (Revelation 12:9), and I will ask for God’s help to distinguish His truth from the lies.

This is my declaration of freedom, of sonship, and of unfailing right standing before God, who is my loving Heavenly Father.

A Letter From God

A Letter From God

Dearly Loved Child,

I wish you knew how much I truly love you. My love for you is everlasting
(Jeremiah 31:3). It is unfailing (Psalm 36:7). It can never be shaken (Isaiah 54:10).

No matter what you’re going through, know that nothing can separate you from My love (Romans 8:38-39). In every situation, you are more than a conqueror through My Son (Romans 8:37)! I am always with you. I will never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Because I am with you, none will be able to stand against you, all the days of your life (Joshua 1:5).

What are you in need of? Simply ask Me. Call out to Me, and I will answer you (Jeremiah 33:3), for if you ask, you will receive (Matthew 7:8). I am able to do exceedingly, abundantly, far above all you could ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21). Nothing you could ask for is ever impossible, for all things are possible for Me (Matthew 19:26)!

Your life has meaning and purpose. I knew you before you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). I have good plans for your life – plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. They are plans to give you hope and a future
(Jeremiah 29:11). Whether you turn to the right or the left, my voice will lead you (Isaiah 30:21), if you will listen.

I am the giver of every good and perfect gift in your life (James 1:17). Because I love you, I delight in blessing you. I desire for you to experience the abundant life that my Son came to give you (John 10:10). Know this, and receive all that I have made available to you through the promises in My Word!

I have chosen you (John 15:16). I rejoice over you with song (Zephaniah 3:17). Always remember that you are precious to me, and honored in my sight
(Isaiah 43:4)!With Much Love, Your Heavenly Father

With Much Love,
Your Heavenly Father
